Well... this is Pierre. the latest addition to the Little Beaks and Wings crew. He is a Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure. Born on Aug 20th 2007. I was walking by the pet store when I noticed in the window a cute little bird, so of course I went in. He was sitting in his cage and I was told that he was friendly but that he did bite a little. I went home and looked up as much as I could on conures, and found that they are really good birds. I of course went back the next day to take him out and see how "friendly" he was.

So I took him out and he was friendly, just needed a little work. I spent along time with him and knew that I did want him. I went to go put him back on his cage, and this boy came over and took a perch and started chasing him around the top of his cage. the poor little guy freaked out and ran to me, thats when I knew that I could not leave him there. out came the credit card and off we went.

So thats the story on how me and Pierre met. He is now of course in a brand new big cage full of toys...I dont think he knows how lucky he is to be adopted into a home that has a bird store right in it lol He will find out!
