Whats New??December 30, 2007
Whooo a lot has been going on. And I can't even believe the holidays are over!!! Now I can't wait for spring!!!!! So Piccolo and Adele had 3 wonderful little babies again. And yesterday 2 more breeding pairs joined the crew. 1 pair is a green/blue masked lovebird and the other is a co-owed pair of dilute blue masked. The dilute pair came with 6 wonderful little eggs and of course nothing goes easy! Since getting home with the pair they would not go back in the nest box with the eggs, and we had to make the very hard decision of taking the eggs from them which are due to hatch any day and put them with the other 2 pairs. we put 3 with Piccolo and Adele and 3 with the Blue/Green pair hoping someone would sit on the eggs. Both pairs are sitting on there foster eggs, and we are prepaired to take the babies from day 1 and start feeding. lets hope for the best!

Well there is a new addition....Pierre he is a Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure, a little over 2 months old. I am totally in love with the little guy!!! I will have pics soon!!

Well its been along time since I've did a little updating. the site has a new look which I really like, even has a picture of Ruby on it. Ruby has finally stopped screaming after the move! it look a very long time for her to calm down. So im happy to say that she is back to her old self. The Little Beaks and Wings store is doing really well. Piccolo and Adele are back into there nest box again so im sure i will be busy in a few months. My new house is coming along great, really not much more to do until spring, then its back outside and more planting lol

Well everyone is moved in and Ruby really isnt taking the whole moving things that well, I've never heard her scream so much to be honest with you.... she is just starting to calm down a little bit lol. Piccolo and Adele had a clutch in July...they laid 4 eggs 2 only hatched this time

Well I must say I have lots of updating to do. Where to start...... 2 of my wonderful little baby lovies found a great home and I hope to get a past babies page going very soon with there stories. Mumble stayed with me and is a total sweetheart. I actually bought my first home within the past few month and I have been busy with that. Of course I did the birds room first... I still dont have a bed or anything in my bedroom, but there room is done lol and if you are a bird person you will understand that hahaa The bird store is coming along really well. I painted it Mango Tango so you can only imagine what it will look when it is all done!!! Piccolo and Adele have been trying for the last week to get into there nest box so I gave in and set it up for them again, of course I will keep you all update on that. I also got another breeding pair of Peachfaced Lovebirds named Connor and Sophie, I will set them up to breed in the fall. I said I had a lot to update on lol So keep checking back for some new pages and pictures of the house and store!

Happy Spring! Oh my goodness I have not done a update if forever! Things have been crazy around here with 3 very active babies and trying to get the store going. make sure you check out there very cute pictures!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Another baby was born on the 10th.....so that makes 4 babies all together. I have been watching one of the babies, as he is very small and doesnt look like he is getting fed as much. After looking him over today I decided to pull two of the oldest babies. They are doing well and have had their first hand feeding, which went well. Also I have added a picture of the new babies and keep checking back as I will have lots more pictures of the little guys!

Piccolo and Adele are being wonderful parents, and boy does Adele keep Piccolo running! there might be 1 more baby today but I cant get a good look I will keep posting.

Another baby has hatched! I took a peak in the box this morning and there is for sure 2 babies!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas! All the birds are busy with there new toys! Just a quick update with the site.... I have added a page so everyone can see some toys for sale. If anyone is interested in something please let me know and we can do a payment through paypal. As of right now I have a page for small toys a page for Medium and large is being worked on.

Happy Birthday Ruby!!!!! I actually have no idea when Ruby's real birthday is. A year ago today is when I brought Ruby home, so I have made it her Birthday! She is a big 4 years old!!!!!
